The Name
στενός — Stenos
The Greek word στενός (stenos) means "narrow" or "strait." It is the very adjective Jesus used in Matthew 7:14: στενὴ ἡ ὁδός — "narrow is the way."
Where Narrow Hodos names the path (ὁδός), Stenos Hodos names the narrowness itself — the precise, demanding character of the way that leads unto life. It is the Greek-rooted companion to the Narrow Hodos ministry, returning to the original words Christ spoke.
This ministry exists to recover what time and tradition have buried: the sharp, uncompromising edge of the Gospel as it was first written — studied in the original tongue, examined plainly, and lived deliberately.
"Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
— Matthew 7:14
